I know there are more CF patients in the hospital besides me and you. So how do we get every one moving? Currently at University of Cincinnati there are 7 of us in house, and I am the only one that leaves my room. Has any one else accepted your challenge? I am trying to figure out a challenge for you, but I do not think I will be successful you seem very strong willed.

Moving ain't easy! Unfortunately, people find exercise to be difficult, and people rarely choose to do what is hard. The key however is to do what is manageable. We don't need to push it so hard that we hate it, but we do need to push it. I've rarely known a CFer that has started to exercise that hasn't seen a benefit.
so i attempted the 20 minute insanity workout again today. we need some better weather down here. all it has done the last two weeks is rain! i'm about to take on the challenge of the wall sit and jumps. i've been kinda browsing for a treadmill so i won't have any excuses on rainy days

Treadmill sounds like a winner!! You'll have to let me know how you like the jumps :)
I'm not in the hospital so it's easier for me get moving. Today I took inspiration from your suggestions and did a 20 minute row (3km), 3 sets of 20 second wall sits (ouch my poor abused knees!), 3 sets of 5 standing jumps (those are hard!), the usual reps with lame little 5lb weights and then had a 30 minute walk in the sunshine. Thanks for getting my butt in gear!

Very nice! Sounds like you did a great job. Those jumps get easier as you do them. I started a couple of months ago with a 12" box and can now do a 36"! I'll throw down another challenge tomorrow :)
Way to be a role model Ronnie! Today I did mobility work for about 20 min, then did 4 complex sets of double kettlebell swings x 5, double KB snatches x 5, double KB seesaw presses x 5, Then sucked air and coughed 90 sec between sets. Very tough, but fun. After that I worked on Turkish getups and pistol squat variations. Total time 55 min. Took the pups for a 45 min walk in the rain to cool down. You will be back doing the Spartan soon!
