Good for you with the church pre-marital counseling. We did the same and learned a lot. It gave us a lot of tools that we like to conveniently forget that we learned from time to time when we slip into our more natural selves.

From our 4 years of dating and 3 years of marriage, I'd say the biggest areas to discuss and master the crap out of now are: communicating, fighting, money, and sex (well, not the mastering part, the talking part) with communicating being the cornerstone of those 4 areas because the others all require communicating.

Ronnie, don't stop with the farting noises, that was a good one. I think we were separated at birth.

Really loving your blog. Jason and I went through that book about 8 years ago. Honestly don't really remember it much but I did know at the time I like it. :) Just simply communicating like you guys do is HUGE in a relationship. keep up the good work. you guys are a great couple and i'm sure an encouragement to so many others out there.
