Thanks for sharing exactly how the procedure goes. Facinating what modern science and medicine can do. Praying all the rest of the IVF journey is flawless.

Dude, It seems like this is the closest a guy will come to experiencing child-birth. Take it easy.

Good luck tomorrow Mandi, will be thinking of you

Holy! You are so open about all this. Sooo hoping this works out for you guys!!!! I did 3 rounds of IVF /PGD to have a healthy baby . It is a process but SOOO worth it...Many prayers coming...Megan www.caringbridge.org/visit/aidanneville
Thanks for posting the video. Hopefully you heal up soon. I am positive that it will all be worth it. You have my prayers and good luck wishes for a fast and smooth process.

I just have a couple of questions though. Do you happen to know if it is common for the sperm to be bad quality with the CBAVD or is it generally healthy? And is there still hope if the sperm is in low quality?

Again thank you for all the posts because they are very helpful and informative of what we have to look forward to in the near future. All my prayers and luck are with the two of you. Good luck! :)

Generally speaking, they usually expect to find "lower quality" sperm with someone who has CBAVD. The good thing is with ICSI, the sperm doesn't have to be super duper because they're doing all of the work for it. And, you only need one sperm for each egg :)
