Great list, Ronnie!! All I really need in the hospital is some comfy pajamas and a few good books. Hoping you are outta there and feeling back to your old self soon!

I can't ever concentrate long enough to read a book...but I guess that has nothing to do with the hospital :)
I can't believe you didn't mention.... YOUR OWN PILLOW! This is probably number one for me. I'm also surprised you have so many high sugar/carb snacks. You must not be diabetic. Lucky duck! One other thing.... Gatorade comes in a can? I've only ever seen it in plastic bottles. Is that a regional thing? I forgot where you are located. I'm a California girl. I've never seen Gatorade in a can. Lemon Lime is my favorite!

I've never brought my own pillow. I always think it will get dirty or infected with something. I know, I can just wash it, but it still plays with my mind :) I had never seen Gatorade in a can either until they started getting them here!
Thanks, love the video list. Where do you walk / run when you are in the hospital? You are so kind to your respiratory therapists...I love chest pounding to music!

I just walk/run outside on the grounds of the hospital...
Ooooh, just caught the challenge at the end!! Sounds like grueling fun...I have to set a good example for Nathan, right?? =)
my top ten in no order:
pajamas
guitar
camera
microphone/stand/amp (im counting as one)
yogurt
kool-aid singles
golden corral rolls with honey butter
computer
mp3 player
my ana free poster!
Oh my goodness! Little coffee maker!!! Duh!! I usually pay waaaaay to much at the coffee shop downstairs at the coffee shop because whatever comes to the room is nasty! My own pillow is also a must have, and since I spend my time on the chair that pulls out into a "bed" I bought a down pillow top thing to go on top of the foam covered board. Best money I ever spent!
You got it Ronnie!! I am sending you my prayers.....and I have great books and fantastics tapes, for relax and well-being, I could send you those!!
Take care
Cristina Zermoglio a grandma!
1. Coffee Maker... Have to have that first (and only) cup of coffee in the morning... plus, I use Hazelnut and ALL the people that enter my room say it smells REALLY good. (they like to hang out in there..or hide sometimes!)
2. My own pillow for sure!! A must!
3. A hand made quilt from either my mom or auntie. (I have several small ones)
4. Some sort of candy or sweets--usually gummy bears.
5. My Own pajamas and slippers
6. Cell phone
7. Laptop
8. Something to read/write with/watercolors/colored pencils
9. My Own towel and washcloths
10. Cereal
BONUS that makes it all the better!!! I hope you take this to heart and adapt one.
11. (I bring a little lamp--about 7 inches tall or so) that has a small, nightlight bulb in it for the evenings when I'm doing meds but don't want the tv on for light or the overhead... and then I can turn it off by my bedside. It's just very low light, for ambience, and reminds me of home. Means a lot and I do get many comments on it... how it makes it so HOMEY in there.
I haven't seen Gatorade in a can in 10 years...stellar!
