Oh, the old subjective vs. objective assessment debate. Well, I know that there are a lot of cfers out there who are healthier by the numbers but have a poor quality of life. The mind is a powerful tool in this aspect. I can't say enough about a positive attitude. When I'm dwelling on how poorly I feel, I'm living in the problem and that's only going to magnify it in my mind, where as, when I'm focusing on the positives, and how grateful I am to have the health that I do have, it helps trick my mind into feeling better. The internet has been a great tool for connecting with other CFers - there's always someone out there who can give you a perspective adjustment.
Thanks for the info on pft's. Courtney is doing them at clinic and even though she is still learning I get worried. But since watching your update on pft's I know not to worry to much.
Great video post!
I totally agree with your thoughts...
Question - how are you referring to your PFT percentages? I usually report FEV1... what do you mean when you say 80 over 70??
