Random Picture

I got back from NY late last night and I was too tired to write a blog or even open my computer :) Thought I'd post a picture of me at our annual Christmas "Black Out" party. Most people wear suits, but you know I couldn't just follow the crowd!!

Ronnie, thanks so much for speaking in Albany. This is Julie--the 42-year-old blonde who was sitting next to you on the stage at the adult forum near the end of the day. For years, just like you, I have believed that exercise is the best for airway clearance. BUT, I have grown a bit lazy. Maybe not lazy. My fev has gone from 60% to 40% slowly over the last two years. I have told myself that it is just age and a progression of the disease. I lift weights and do sprints, but I have been telling myself that I can't run the longer distances that I used to. I think I have been lying to myself. I really want to get back in the 60% range. I am going to make it a goal. I ran a mile today. I'm not going to say it was easy, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I took it slow, and it felt good to really sweat. Maybe your visit will mean a real change in my life. I will stay in touch........Thanks again.

It was such a pleasure meeting you Julie!! You look absolutely great and your warm and infectious smile is something I already miss about New York :) I'm STOKED to hear that you're going to give running another go!!
