i love how instantly happy your face gets when you lift your right arm.. I hate that feeling.. Sorry Ronnie!
Dude, you should save yourself a lot of trouble and just get a port. I am sure you have your reasons, but Man, it makes the hospital SO MUCH BETTER!!!! Just my two cents....
Take care,
Anna

Hang in there Ronnie. You are such an inspiration!! My daughter (age 25) has very, very small veins & they always blow... problem is they have a very hard time getting her picc in also. Best of luck & hope you get your picc in today. God bless you :)

Hey Ronnie! Such a bummer to have a "popeye" arm, hate those! Hopefully this 3rd IV works well until you can get the PICC in. Darn hospitals drive ya crazy with their disorganization huh?!?! I was just curious though, why is is that you have never gotten a medi-port rather than all these IV's and PICC's, especially considering the frequency of IV therapies that is necessary as you get older...? I've always been told that any of the meds they put me on in the hospital are way too powerful for both IV's and PICC's. Just wondering :) Hope you get better FAST!!! :)

get better real soon Ronnie, and hope you get out there real soon. Are you at UMC in Tucson? just curious, because when I lived in Tucson, for a year, I was in UMC too. I hope they get to your PICC line very soon, if not done so by now. Best of luck, and get better soon.
OUCH! oh Ronnie! So sorry about all that nonsense...I am just catching up on some of your videos...buddy, I'm jumping on the PORT bandwagon, and as your elder I feel like I can lecture you! :) I held off for years and had it in my head that if I could make it to 40 I would but...my arms would look like eggplants, literally...you know the deal...couldn't even get PICCs in. ANYWHO, the PORT is a breeze -- no waiting once you're admitted to the hospital, easy to do from home (my husband can access me or de-access me if need be...) Really. Don't know why I fought it so long. Now I've had "Polly the PORT" for over 5 years. She's a pal for sure.

Hope you're feeling better and the war is over soon :)
