This might be a really dumb question but do the blood vessels in your lungs spring leaks from coughing so much? Do they cut back on your treatments so you won't cough. Where does that leave you as far as at risk for getting more lung infections?

Thank you for answering my questions. To be honest coughing up blood is something I really fear (besides germs, scar tissue, mean people and bees.)
