Mckenna's First Day






Mckenna Day Sharpe was born at 12:44am on the morning of October 17th, just missing her momma's birthday by 45 minutes! She was 6 lbs 2 oz and 17 inches long.

She is beautiful. And you look FAB. I can't beleive you outside, while in what had to be fairly active labor on Sunday, your birthday, all smiles, and active and happy; LOVE IT! So very exciting. I can't wait to get the birth story. Mckenna Day is a perfect name. You were about three weeks early, right? If this is correct, she would have been quite a big baby; especially with your tiny baby bump. Many blessings to both families! <3, Jodi

Congratulations you two!! I thought Mandi had a few weeks left, apparently Mckenna couldn't wait to meet her amazing parents! Mandi, you look beautiful as always. Ronnie, you seem so happy to finally be able to hold your own little creation in your arms. And the star, Mckenna is absolutely adorable!! She looks just like her fantastic parents!! Ronnie & Mandi, my cup runneth over for you. Every time I see a picture or a post about McKenna, I feel a lump in my throat. I started following your journey to this day when Mandi got her carrier testing. I've watched and waited and celebrated each step along the way, marveled at how you handled pregnancy, ogled your nursery & shower pictures.... I am so happy for you. And as the mother of a little guy with CF, seeing you become parents gives me hope that I thought died the day we got the call about J's diagnosis. It feels like much more than someone I follow online, it feels like seeing something amazing happen to my own family. I hope life continues to bless you like this. Much love.
